Alex Payne - Glendale, CA
Alex, originally from London, England, has been in the IT field since he was 17. He holds a Master of Engineering in Information Systems from the University of Surrey. After gaining experience and multiple certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and others in London, he moved to Los Angeles to work at an ISP managing networks and helpdesk operations. In 2001, Alex founded Techital to fill a market gap. The company offers managed IT services with a people-centric approach, focusing on understanding and meeting client needs with personalized and effective solutions.
Ed Avaness - Glendale, CA
Ed has over 25 years of experience in IT and currently serves as the Professional Services Manager. He is responsible for leading a team in delivering high-quality technical solutions and services. Ed's deep industry knowledge helps him effectively manage complex IT projects and meet client needs. In his personal life, Ed enjoys spending quality time with his family. He loves going to the beach, participating in outdoor activities, and barbequing. He values a balance between work and personal interests, finding joy in both his professional achievements and family time.
Sim Singh - Glendale, CA
Sim has been a Systems Engineer for over 14 years, bringing extensive experience and expertise to the field. His role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Sim is passionate about technology and is adept at solving challenging technical problems. In addition to his passion for technology, Sim enjoys spending time in nature, often hiking, exploring, and finding peace in the outdoors. This balance between technology and the natural world enriches his life both professionally and personally.
Abigail Korting - Frisco, TX
Abigail found her passion for technology six years ago in a college coding class and has been immersed in IT ever since. She completed Springboard’s Cyber Security Boot Camp, earning her CompTIA Security+, A+, and Google IT Support certifications. She also ranks in the top 8% of over 1.2 million users on TryHackMe, where she hones her red- and blue-team skills. At Techital, Abigail brings focus, creativity, and a love of problem-solving to every challenge. She thrives under pressure and views cybersecurity as an ever-evolving puzzle. Outside of work, she enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy novels, and exploring Texas with her border collie, Luna.
Joseph Marbella - Glendale, CA
Joseph is a dedicated Helpdesk Technician with a strong background in customer service. With years of experience, Joseph excels at assisting users with technical issues, providing clear and empathetic support. His passion for helping people and solving problems makes him an invaluable member of the helpdesk team. Outside of work, Joseph and his wife enjoy exploring new restaurants and cuisines as dedicated foodies. He also takes great pride in being a father to his sweet and smart daughter, who brings joy to his life. Joseph's warm and approachable nature shines through in his professional and personal interactions.
Nikolas Dorhoutmees - Glendale, CA
Nikolas is a Helpdesk Technician at Techital, bringing experience in the IT field since 2021. As a native of Los Angeles, he is deeply familiar with the city's vibrant culture and coastal lifestyle. Outside of work, Nikolas enjoys spending his free time at the beach and exploring the ocean through scuba diving. He also has a passion for culinary adventures, particularly enjoying the thrill of eating unreasonably spicy food. Nikolas's diverse interests and dedication to his work make him a well-rounded and engaging member of the Techital team.
Bryanna Gunn - Frisco, TX
Bryanna brings more than nine years of experience across IT, operations, and client management. She’s known for her organized approach, strong communication, and focus on building lasting relationships. Bryanna brings over nine years of experience across IT, operations, HR, and client management. She’s known for her organized approach, strong communication, and ability to connect people and processes to deliver smooth, efficient service. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Bryanna is also passionate about animal rescue and fosters cats and kittens through local organizations. Two of her former fosters, Cooper and Papaya, quickly became part of her family and keep life lively outside of work. She’s a natural collaborator who thrives on helping teams succeed and clients feel supported.
Daniel Payne - Glendale, CA
Daniel Payne is a student at Glendale Community College with a strong background in robotics, engineering, and technology. Before college, he attended Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School, where he competed in numerous robotics and engineering competitions and earned several awards, including recognition through MESA Machines. Daniel is the founder of Playermade Studios, creating UGC games for Fortnite and mobile that have reached more than 500,000 unique players and generated over 25 million minutes of playtime. He also works part-time as a Help Desk Technician at Techital, supporting users and gaining hands-on IT experience. Previously, he taught after-school coding classes for Glendale Unified School District, helping elementary students learn programming fundamentals.
